Good afternoon, The problem is that we left XXXX XXXX, with the understanding that we do not owe anything since whatever was of our security deposit squared up our balance. The manager, XXXX was whom stated all of this. After 3 months, I received a call from IQ Data. Within these 3 months i have never received any notification from XXXX XXXX that there was an outstanding balance. By the way XXXX XXXX called me and I had asked for an email or letter correspondence in which they told me they could not provide. Then, I went to XXXX the very next day and provided them a Cashiers check of {$1300.00} However, IQ Data mentioned that the debt was {$2500.00} When in reality it was {$1300.00}, which was paid in XXXX. By the end of XXXX, my account was sent to Collections almost 2 months after I paid what was owed. Now, XXXX is stating that they have provided all the means to IQ Data that this was in fact paid for, while IQ Data is stating that they are not willing to assist and cooperate. This should have never ended up in collections. It is hurting my credit score drastically, please assist in resolving this matter. I would like this to be removed from my credit report since I have done nothing wrong and have paid what was owed.
