My parents live in XXXX, XXXX and have an unlisted phone number, as do I. They were contacted today by an outsourced company that sounded like it was from the XXXX asking how to contact me. They contacted me minutes later, telling me that I was to receive a legal document in the mail, and they could not tell me anything more, but I needed to call XXXX XXXX, and they gave me a Complaint # XXXX. The phone number the call came from is XXXX. When I called the number a man answered and said it was a law firm and transferred me to someone himself as a paralegal. When I asked him how he got the unlisted numbers of my parents and I, he said they had resources for getting in touch with Defendents who were about to be served with court papers. He then told me he was with XXXX XXXX XXXX, and that a XXXX Captial debt from over 15 years ago ( Sam 's Club Credit Card ) for {$2400.00} that had been XXXX in a Chapter XXXX Bankruptcy in the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, WI. about 13 years ago was still owed, and with interest had now grown to {$6400.00}. I explained to him about the Chapter XXXX Bankruptcy, but he said that he did not care and I would be receiving a court summons in the mail tomorrow. I see a lot of people have posted on the internet about be a victim of the same scam from XXXX XXXX XXXX.
