Hello XXXX XXXX XXXX I called into chase auto finance on the end of XXXX and asked to get a Deferral or extension on my current payment. Because I havent been late with chase in last XXXX years or have never asked for any type of extension I felt that it would be no problem. The lady I spoke with said that she would need to get approval from a higher up if I needed more than XXXX weeks but if it was XXXX weeks or less she could approve it herself. I didnt need more than XXXX weeks so I accepted and it was granted. I ended up paying it before the XXXX weeks that were granted. I noticed it still hit my credit as late and when I called in to asked the day the lady didnt give me the extension that doesnt hit my credit she only gave me a payment arrangement that has no benefits. If I wouldve known it had no benefits I wouldve paid it without calling. I felt this was very wrong with me being a long-term customer with them and having no lates in the last XXXX years and also being eligible for whatever extension that I was asking to be granted. I feel like I was very mishandled and mislead and that they shouldve straighten it out.
