I am a Comerica/Direct Express consumer. I receive XXXX benefits on a card monthly. The state income comes on the XXXX, the federal, on the XXXX. I was getting ready to go to the grocery store on the XXXX of XXXX and checked my card to be sure that my state check had been deposited. I noticed ( on the app ) where I check my funds and transactions that there was a card sale pending for the XXXX of XXXX in the amount of {$990.00}. It was a fraudulent card use at " XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, Colorado United States Of America ''. I live in XXXX, California and absolutely was not in CO. Also, this is my ONLY source of income as a XXXX mother of XXXX. I absolutely did not would not could not make a transaction for that amount. I immediately called the bank to let them know that this was a fraudulent transaction. At the time, I only had {$100.00} on my Direct Express card. I receive just over {$1000.00} on the XXXX. I was told I would need to file for an investigation ( which I did ) as well as cancel my card and apply for provisional credit. I did all three tasks and have tried repeatedly to get information as to what is happening with the investigation. It is now the XXXX, and I have not received any form of communication back regarding the investigation or the provisional credit. I have no way to pay my bills and zero access to my funds.
