Dear cfpb, I am writing to file a complaint regarding the fraudulent dispute of funds by Apple Credit Card, charging both the merchant and the customer. After receiving an XXXX product that I found to be not worth the price paid, I attempted to return it to the merchant. However, the merchant refused to provide a return address and label, insisting on unreasonable grounds. Consequently, I had no choice but to file a dispute with Apple Credit Card regarding this transaction. Disputed Transaction Dispute case number : XXXX Transaction date : XXXX XXXX XXXX Merchant name : XXXX Disputed amount : {$50.00} Amount to be rebilled : {$50.00} Despite clear evidence, Apple Card Goldman Sachs confirmed the dispute as successful and sent me an email confirming the Dispute Status : Completed ( Disputed charges will be removed ). The temporary credit received, including any interest charges, was supposed to be permanent. However, if XXXX also issued a credit for this disputed transaction, the permanent credit might be reversed. As I never received the credited amount, I already filed a complaint with cfpb against Apple Card Goldman Sachs for failing to transfer the disputed amount to me. Shockingly, after my complaint, Apple Card Goldman Sachs maliciously deemed the dispute unsuccessful, thereby fraudulently retaining the funds. Today, I received an email stating Dispute Status : Completed ( Disputed charge ( XXXX ) will remain ). The temporary credit of XXXX This corrupt and dictatorial behavior by the bank is unacceptable. I urge the authorities to oversee this matter promptly. XXXX
