Consumer Narrative

My car was in an accident on XX/XX/2023. The car was totaled. The insurance from State Farm fully paid off the vehicle. The excess of insurance was kept by US Bank loan number XXXX. As US Bank received the full amount due under the lease, the overage should have been refunded. It was not. US Bank claimed the leasing contract provided for it to keep any overage. As the overage was due to my generous insurance policy, the overage should have been refunded to the consumer.
