I was in a natural disaster, forbearance with rocket mortgage due to losing my home in hurricane and XX/XX/XXXX. I checked in every month like I was supposed to, and cooperated fully with the forbearance. In XX/XX/XXXX I did my check in and told I was approved through XX/XX/XXXX for the forbearance. I have a document to prove this. in XXXX, I was called and told it was a mistake that my forbearance was not supposed to go past XX/XX/XXXX. I was told that I could do a loan modification and that my first payment would not be due until XXXX so it would be similar in that. I would not have to pay anything for XXXX or XXXX as if I was still in the forbearance. I signed the loan modification paperwork and rocket mortgage, then reported to my credit that I was over 180 days past due. My credit score tanked. I tried to resolve this with rocket mortgage but they state their investor is unwilling to fix my credit report.
