I opened a credit card through synchrony and LensCrafters about two years ago. Planned to use the card annually for my prescription eyewear. I used the card in XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX and paid both balances off, never missed a payment and paid more than the minimum due each month. I went to check my account yesterday and saw it was closed. They never even informed me of the closures. Contacted synchrony today and they told me they emailed me back in XXXX, I have many emails from synchrony but nothing stating my account was closed. They did not give me a good reason and the first person I chatted with tried to tell Me it was them decision of the credit bureaus to close my account and if I wanted to find out why I should call them. This is horrible tactics and upon researching they do this all the time to consumers. XXXX alone is full of complaints as is social media sites. This company should be barred from being able to be a creditor.
