Xref : complaint ID XXXX XXXX story short, one of these financial institutions has essentially stolen {$490.00} from me, and neither will acknowledge. On XX/XX/year>, I instructed my financial institution Dave.com to issue a check to my private party mortgage holder and send it directly to her bank XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ). On XX/XX/year>, my private party mortgage holder advised that XXXX XXXX XXXX had charged her account for a returned item. I subsequently deposited another payment for XXXX, and followed up with Dave.com. After multiple emails, letters and telephone conversations, Dave.com insists that the check was successfully cashed and provided a canceled check as proof of payment. I wrote to XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/year> with a copy of their returned item as well as proof of payment from Dave.com. I received no response. '' I filed a first complaint with CNFB ( XXXX ) and received a response from XXXX XXXX XXXX that they had made no error, and refused my complaint, Documentation of both the returned item and canceled check are attached to the cross referenced complaint, One of these financial institutions has my funds, and I want then returned.
