I have contacted Banner Bank by phone XXXX times to close my account. The first time was on XX/XX/XXXX in which I as told I could close my account over the phone and a check would be issued. Instead hey issued a check and left it open. They then charged me a service and to administer an account hat should have been closed. I called again on XX/XX/XXXX and told them what happened and demanded that a manager personally contact m via email or phone to verify the account was closed. The bank has done nothing but reverse the device fee charge and left he account open. The reason I wanted to close it by phone is because I told the bank I was moving and the nearest branch was an almost XXXX hour rountrip drive. This is unethical business practice to keep accounts open against their wishes for almost XXXX months
