I had a {$2000.00} credit limit with PayPal, I was a little over my limit because of interest, I had made all payments and I paid the balance in full. They first added interest to the account after I had paid the balance in full the same day. Then they decreased my credit limit to {$100.00} after I had paid the entire card off. The same day the payment processed they decreased the credit limit to {$100.00}. I messaged customer service because I thought there had to be a technical issue but they told me that they had a periodic review and I would receive information is XXXX business days. I asked to speak to someone else or for there to be an additional review and they said they didnt have any additional information and that I would receive a letter. I stated that this was unacceptable that customers should be rewarded for paying off their accounts not punished and they didnt have a response. I said I wanted to close the account and they closed it. This is incredibly bad practice, for me to pay off the entire balance them to slap interest on it the same day, I pay the interest, and they lower the account by {$1900.00} dollars.
