This is regarding prepaid card ( XXXX $ ) issued to my family for a settlement and card is managed by Blackhawk network holdings. As per the terms and conditions of the settlement the card can be used by anybody ( friends/family ) provided it is activated and registered online until the card expires in XX/XX/XXXX. The card was activated and registered to my name and address about 4 months ago .The card has been suddenly rendered unfunctional by Blackhawk network holdings since XXXX when i tried to do a transaction on XXXX XXXX The company never informed me anything about this or any other issue with the card. I checked the balance before doing the transaction and i only found out after calling them when the transaction got declined. After much back and forth i was told that it was automatically blocked by system to protect my funds because the system detected the use of some spoof website. I explained to them that XXXX is not a spoof website and they refused to unblock the card until they receive my details like Govt issued id, utility bill etc to prove ownership after which they promised to reissue a replacement card asap. This all has been documented on email attached here ( both the reason for the block as well as the reissuance of the card once i provide them the details matching the registration on the card ) Although these details were provided promptly on XX/XX/XXXX and match the name and registration on the card they have still failed to respond and refused reissue my card for use and give me the run around each time i contacted them. The company has effectively stolen my funds and refuses to do anything about it
