I applied for a Cerulean Credit Card through continental finance. I was pre-approved for a {$1000.00} credit limit and I needed to provide the documents verifying my identity. I had provided all the documents that were requested from me. I then called to verify they received the information. The first agent I spoke with advised I needed to reapply. So I did, the application was denied due to a duplicate application in process. So I called back to continental finance to speak with an agent again. They had advised that the previous rep was incorrect and I did not have to re-apply because I still had the original application in process. I verified they received my information that was uploaded to their website. They advised I needed what for the back office to get me a decision. I waited a few weeks then decided to call back. They advised that the back office was still waiting for the decision. I waited an additional week then called back a XXXX time and was told the application had expired and I need to reapply. They advised that I did not send in all the requested information which was incorrect. I asked to speak with a manager. The manager verified I sent all the documents and they stated they will look into it and see if they can get a decision. I never received a call back from a single person and never received a decision on my original application. No letter or verbal communication. I have only been told to just reapply. I most recently called on XX/XX/23 and was told they are still waiting on a decision. This bank has clearly dropped the ball and has not given a decision within the 30 day requirement.
