The balance on my account is incorrect. I have emailed Aidvantage about this issue but I have not heard back from them in three weeks. I used to have an account with XXXX before my account got switched over to Aidvantage. Before the switch, I paid off all the interest and paid {$1400.00} towards my principle balance. On XX/XX/ I noticed that interest had accrued on my account of {$220.00}. Which shouldn't have happened, because the COVID forbearance period was still in effect. I brought this up to XXXX and they said that there was an issue with updating accounts and that it would be handled. Towards the end of XX/XX/2023, my account was transfered to Aidvantage with the accrued interest. I emailed Aidvantage on XX/XX/XXXX and was told to allow up to 90 days for all the information to update. Fast forward to XXXX XXXX XXXX I have emailed my situation to Aidvantage but have yet to hear back from them after three weeks. Before this random accrued interest appeared on my account, and before the loan service switch, my principal balance was at {$29000.00} with {$0.00} in accrued interest- this is what should be my current balance... but now my account states that my balance is at {$29000.00}. I did happen to notice that my payment history from when I was making payments to XXXX has not been transfered over to my account ( at least, I am unable to see it ). But before my account was switched, I was able to take screenshots of my payment history and the randomly accrued interest which I would be happy to share. As we all know, payments resume this XX/XX/2023. I would like for this issue to be resolved so it doesn't become a more complicated and bigger mess to untangle.
