I received a legal document in the mail today XX/XX/XXXX from Portfolio recovery associates stating that they had reached out to my previous employer regarding garnishment of wages. This is from credit card debt from XXXX. When I called the phone number given, I was told they could not assist me nor give me contact information regarding any questions about this matter. This company has in the passed contacted friends of mine regarding this as well. This debt is due to a document chronic illness I had going back to XXXX. I am extremely concerned about any passed or future employment I may have since I am currently seeking employment. I currently have no income to support myself or my child.
