I deposited a check to my checking account that was from an accident that I had. When I deposited the check XX/XX/2023, the bank restricted my account and I could not access funds that were already in there until the check cleared. The check cleared on XX/XX/2023. But my account is still being restricted, I can not access my funds and the check funds or use my debit card. They said they needed to contact the insurance regarding the check. I gave them a phone number and they said that it wouldn't work and that they would not unrestrict my funds even thought he check has already cleared.
