On XX/XX/2023, I called Citibank to get an explanation of a new balance and its corresponding interest charge that was not on any previous statement. Citibank agent said such amount was because of the daily interest calculation, to which I said : there is no way that $ XXXX is the calculation of daily compound interest for previous balance of $ XXXX which was paid in full before due date. Citibank agent on the phone was not able to explain how such new balance appeared on my new statement.
