I purchased concert tickets via XXXX in XX/XX/2023, which were then canceled before the concert. In the cancellation email XXXX sent me, I was informed that the Bank ( Citi Bank ) would refund me. After months of communication ( via disputes ), Citi Bank ultimately said they could not refund me. I've also contacted XXXX during this period, but they repeatedly said that Citi Bank should be the party to refund me and there was nothing they could do. Several disputes were established during my communication with Citi Bank, but all were returned as unsuccessful. Some agents even cited that I was late in providing documentation, but they were all proven to be incorrect. One of the managers I spoke with from Citi Bank said that some missteps by Citi Bank definitely affected the results of the dispute but could not assist further. I also need clarification on why this was not simply refunded to my account and I even had to go through disputes in the first place. When the vendor canceled the tickets, the total should have been refunded directly.
