The account was open XX/XX/XXXX, I paid the balance off at {$37.00} or more a month and the credit card remained in good standings. I continued to pay the monthly fees until XXXX XXXX. I requested the card closed today XXXX XXXX, XXXX, the creditor said the account was closed already though I would still have to pay the monthly fees and remaining balance. The creditor does not understand the positive balance after it remained the balance after it was paid off by a the time frame of the credit account. The creditor closed the account around XX/XX/XXXX, though it is not closed. I contacted the creditor XXXX XXXX, XXXX to close the account, the creditor said it was closed but they would still bill me for the positive balance.
