My Previous complaint XXXX AFNI XXXX has taken over collections for XXXX XXXX this was the originally disputed back in XX/XX/XXXX, when I found the charge on my account. I had not received any correspondence from XXXX XXXX after CFPB response that XXXX XXXX was suppose to respond to me directly on verification of the debt. In review of my credit report. I see that AFNI has now become the new collection agency in pursuit of this debt. I did contact AFNI XX/XX/XXXX, and spoke with representatives XXXX and XXXX, initially they were pursuing the individual with a FL address. The person who opened account resided at XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have never lived in GA or FL, nor have any relatives or known persons in that state. I was informed by AFNI to file an identify theft app directly with XXXX XXXX, I will do so. Also I informed XXXX and will be uploading the last report XXXX, and new report to XXXX directly upon completion, so they can be involved. I would like your assistance to put this matter to rest, as it is negatively impacting my credit report. I have not received any direct mail yet, since I gave my address to the representative XX/XX/XXXX, I am sure they will eventually send one.
