I received a phone call stating that I was to be served for a court appearance and when I asked what it was they refused to tell me and said the only thing they could do is give me a phone number. I asked if it was criminal or civil and they refused to tell me. Upon calling ( XXXX ) XXXX I was never given a company name or anything. I verified myself and they told me they were suing me for a debt that they claim was from XXXX but the account was from XXXX. Its past the 8 year statute in MT and I live in Idaho where the statute is 5 years. They are also claiming the original debt was {$1800.00} is now over {$7000.00}. I asked for the court information and their information and they refused to provide. Havent received any notices from anyone in regards to said debt. Feel very threatened, deceived and intimidated that this company has all my information and the only thing I have is a phone number. Please help
