Fraudulent check for {$8400.00} was processed against our checking account at Chase bank. We reported it immediately upon discovering it on XX/XX/XXXX and submitted required written form on XX/XX/XXXX after getting misleading instructions from a bank employee. Upon following up on XX/XX/XXXX were told the claim was still awaiting documentation. We went into bank branch and worked with manager to resend the form from XX/XX/XXXX and verified it was received by the fraud department. We are now being told we will get a credit in 3-5 business day, which exceeds their requirement to give us a temporary credit within 10 business days from the date of the claim. This has had a very negative affect on us financially and we want to be sure they follow through and that their failure to follow the regulations are noted.
