on XX/XX/23 at XXXX I received an email from Bank of America saying my account was approved and my new debit card was on the way. I did not open any Bank of America accounts. I called the fraud department and they were able to identify that there was a checking account in their financial services department that was opened under my name, social security number, address, but a different phone number. They had to transfer me 2 times but eventually I was able to freeze and cancel the " account '' so there wouldn't be any activity in my name.
