I was refinancing a fixed equity loan, and when I was asked about The bank of American representative told me there was NOT a fixed rate home equity loan option... Now my payments have doubled, and my interest rate is higher than my original loan.. and I'm pretty sure I was just blatantly lied to in order to saddle me with this XXXX ARM loan, since Fixed rate options are now plastered all over the bank of America website . Ontop of being forced to manifest and pay off thousands of dollars in other 0 % debt. Leaving me with no emergency funds, and this second mortgage payment that quickly doubled, forcing me to live off of credit cards again.
