Consumer Narrative

I am trustee of an insurance trust, which holds two life insurance policies on my father. we have {$600.00} in an acct at XXXX. Axos bank advertised a desire for business accts and a {$100.00} bonus. they also advertised a fast online process. on XX/XX/XXXX I applied online. In that app I provided ALL requested information. at XXXX XXXX I recd email from axos stating they were in receipt, and asking me to upload 3 docs. I had provided those exact docs a few minutes earlier, so our timing just crossed. XX/XX/XXXX XXXX recd email with docusign. I signed all docs, which were app, sig card, certification, etc. At XXXX XXXX I recd email stating that my app was assigned to XXXX XXXX. I immediately called him and was able to get in touch. We discussed next steps and focused on the timing of the ach which was a draw from the XXXX acct. I was eager to get funds out of XXXX to avoid another monthly fee. XXXX said he would let me know by calling the next day the timing. THIS WAS THE LAST TIME THAT I HEARD FROM HIM. at XXXX XXXX I recd emailed signed documents that I had previously signed. I heard nothing until XX/XX/XXXX, an email from axos telling me to logon for a secure message. the message asked me for the same information that I had provided 2 times : first in the initial app. second on the docusign documents. ( my driver 's license, address, email, etc ) I informed them that they had the info but provided it again, and again uploaded my driver 's license. this concerned me that something was off in the processing. I waited a few more days, still heard nothing. so I used the service they provided and setup a calendar appointment with XXXX for monday XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX XXXX. this appt was confirmed. and was a wk after app with no new info and no status update. XXXX failed to call me so the appointment did not occur. so on XXXX at XXXX I emailed XXXX and summarized the above events, and his failing the appt. I did not hear a response and still two weeks later nothing from Axos. Axos is not required to accept my money. I realize that. but they actively solicited and on same day of app moved very qkly. then just stopped. if there was an issue with my acct that they did not like or want, that is their perogative, but they did not say anything. that was my frustration. so I went to XXXX and XXXX and both places were able to open an account within 24 hrs with no duplicative requests for information. I no longer want anything to do with Axos but I'm filing this complaint because I'm exposing their behavior.
