I am requesting that Appfolio delete any information that they have on my name in their database. I am sending a notice along with evidence that clearly shows that they are in violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. As a Consumer reporting they have to exercise their duty to safeguard consumer information. 15 United States Code 1681b ( 2 ) states that a consumer reporting may furnish a report under the following circumstances and no other, ( 2 ) in accordance with written instruction from the consumer to whom it relates. I have a requested a copy of any written instruction that I have given the company to have any information about me on file and if they don't they are admitting to identity theft and violation my rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
