I got very sick with a XXXX XXXX and could no longer and then XXXX happened. Our funds were becoming very tight and our mortgage company offered a Forbearance, and said at the end of the Forbearance the amounts missed would go back into the loan and we would start our payments back up. Every time it was time for the Forbearance to end and payments to start up and I would ask about it, they continued to send me a loan modification packet and would continue my Forbearance. For the past year they have said that my Forbearance limit has been maxed, and thats completely fine but I have begged for my loan to be set back up on the payments as stated in the beginning but they have still continued sending a modification packet that says I dont qualify for a modification. Im not trying to get a modification Ive asked for a year for my payments to be set back up and an exit from the Forbearance as stated would happen. Now they are either Foreclosing XX/XX/XXXX, I have to pay a lump sum of {$18000.00}, or file bankruptcy to keep my home. Weve lived in our home for 20 years I cant lose my home. Our states attorney general is helping and she did get it reversed about 45 days ago and closed everything out and they started again. I just need our loan exited from the Forbearance so payments can resume back on track.
