I've contacted Synchrony Bank 3 times regarding my Musicians Friend credit card. I made an additional payment to my monthly minimum payment and asked Synchrony to apply the additional payment to a specific promotional purchase amount. They incorrectly applied the additional payment initially, even after confirming the correct promotional purchase. After I saw this was applied incorrectly a few days later, I reached out again and again requested that the additional payment be applied to the promotional purchase I had requested. Once again the rep said it was done but my online account was still showing the payment was applied incorrectly a couple of days later. I called again, got the same response, but I still show a couple more days later that it still has not been fixed. I feel like Synchrony Bank is actively trying to prevent me from paying off the promotional balance before the promotional term is due.
