I asked for verification of debt and was sent a ledger that was not the same as my move-out statement. The ledger has various charges that are confusing to figure out because payments received were not credited or placed in the right column and subtracted from the initial balance. I am being charged for an eviction that was dismissed in court. I am being charged for late fees that can not be accessed to me because Section 8 federal housing was paying the full rent so any late fees would have to be directed to them. I am only receiving partial credit for my rent even though since XXXX acquired the property my rent has always been the same amount. They are only given my credit for {$310.00} of my security deposit but from their own records if they are correct I paid {$620.00} dollars which would more than pay the debt in question and I would be entitled to a refund which was not provided when I moved out. I am also being charged for rent after I was completely moved out. Same on the move-out ledger, payments are not placed in the payment column and are not subtracted from the outstanding balance. Which makes understanding it confusing. After my attorney reached out to section 8 he informed me to contact I.Q. Data International Inc for an updated ledger. I sent a demand letter asking for the ledger to be updated based on the information I sent them. I sent my lease, move-out statement, vacate notice, XXXX contract and payment ledger, info on five-day pay and eviction procedures according to The Housing Authority, five-day notice , and court proceeding that was not provided to Housing Authority ( section 8 ) . The demand letter and supporting documentation was received on XX/XX/2023, and picked up by an individual at the post office at XXXX XXXX per the post office XXXX XXXX. I have heard nothing back from XXXX or I. Q. Data Inc. I have enclosed the closing letter from the attorney that represented me in court and the demand letter they sent to section 8 asking for them to pay the late fees that XXXX on XXXX claims I owe. Section 8 provided proof to my attorney that all late charges were reversed and is shown on the ledger that was sent as verification of debt to me but it is still on my credit report. I enclosed the demand letter asking for a new ledger or for the information to be corrected from XXXX and I.Q. Data Inc, I enclosed the ledger sent to me and the move-out ledger which is not the same and does not reflect the correct charges. I am asking for a new ledger and if I owe anything for that to be reflected on the updated ledger and on my credit report. For all correspondings to be in writing. Or for this to be taken off my credit report and for them to stop trying to charge me for things I do not owe, also in writing.
