2016 my Comcast account ( now known as XXXX ) was closed. The account balance was subject to a return of equipment ( a remote control device ). They billed {$800.00} for the equipment. I had a conversation with a representative about how to resolve this matter. The company 's required me to either return the devices or pay the the fee.after two years I have retrieved the device. I have tried to contact the department that could provide closure to this matter and remove the erroneous item on my credit report, to no avail. I also sent them a verification of the account reported on my credit history, With a 45 day response, to no avail. I reported this information to the credit bureaus but they did not properly process my findings. I have the device in question and would like the negative item removed from my credit history.. The account number associated with this matter is XXXX XXXX XXXX This account was closed in 2016. By my account this is 7 years ago.. it should be removed From all three credit bureaus agencies..
