XX/XX/2023 Walgreens, XXXX Tx XXXX I was checking out at the counter, when the Walgreens Associate asked if I would be interested in a Walgreens Card to save more money on my purchases, I said yes, but I didn't want to apply because it would put a hard inquiry on my credit report. The Walgreens Associate picked up the phone by the register and called someone in management, I assumed. He asked if I could apply without a hard inquiry, and I was told that there would be no hard inquiry on my credit report if I didn't qualify. I agreed. I didn't qualify and there is now a hard inquiry from Synchrony Bank, in XXXX.I called Walgreens in XXXX, TX regarding what happened and was told they couldn't help me with the problem that they had caused. I want this inquiry removed from all three credit reporting agencies.
