Earlier last week, Bank of America called and left a message in regard to a possible fraud alert on my account. I then received a letter from the bank stating that they had received a credit card application in my name. This letter asked me to call the bank to inform them if I did submit the application. I called the morning of XX/XX/23, informing the bank that I DID NOT ask for a credit card application. I was informed that not 1, but 2 applications have been submitted in my name. I confirmed all requested information with Bank of America in regards to my personal information. The representative informed me that the applications have been denied and there would be a fraud notification on my account.
