I received an email from CIT bank stating that they need to verify my identity to open an account. The person attempting to open the account has my name and email. The person is not me I tried calling the fraud number with CIT and all I get is a bunch of automated options.none of which relate to fraud. This is the second attempt for someone to open an account in my name. There was one with XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX several months ago. They wanted my personal information to resolve and I refused. I filed a complaint with my local Sheriffs office.
