Consumer Narrative

I am a co-signer on a private school loan for my daughter. We took the loan out in XXXX and Ive been making payments on the loan since XXXX or XXXX. I cant recollect definitively when loan payments began, but I believe around around XXXX or XXXX, I did experience a financial hardship where I had request forbearance XXXX times from loan server AES. The loan is owned by National Collegiate Trust XXXX XXXX, and after a decade of on-time payments by me ( post forbearance request ) Ive been denied co-signer release benefit at least 3 times citing forbearance, even XXXX time is a disqualifying event for co-signer release per their terms. The loan was initially executed through XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX. I did not know the loan by XXXX was even owned by NCT until years later when I initially starting inquiring about a co-signer release. I have never received documentation from XXXX or AES regarding the loan terms which supposedly include the forbearance stipulation.
