After transferring the bulk of my funds to a Bank of America account due to higher international wire limits. I scheduled an appointment and notified the bank several days before that I would be going to the branch to send an international transfer exceeding {$50000.00} and to be prepared to do so as I was moving out of the country. At the scheduled time I filled out all paperwork, provided both US Passport and valid state ID. About 40 minutes passed and the Bank Manager came to speak to me. She notified me that my account was now frozen for suspected fraud. And that the wire would not be sent and that I would have XXXX access to my funds. I was scheduled to leave the country, a very large international move two days later. With XXXX access to my account, multiple vendors would not be able to get their payments and created an issue. My pets USDA health certificate payment was refused, causing my pet to not be eligible to leave the country at the pre-set departure date. I was unable to pay the airlines to rebook my tickets, unable to pay rent, purchase fuel, or groceries to wait out the account freeze. This is beyond unacceptable.
