Per my Bank of America ( BofA ) mortgage statement, my payments in XX/XX/XXXX were for XXXX XX/XX/XXXX. On XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, my payment for XXXX XX/XX/XXXX was received and acknowledged. On XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, my payment for XXXX XX/XX/XXXX was received and acknowledged. On XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, my payment was acknowledged, but they claimed it was for XXXX XX/XX/XXXX again. On XXXX XXXX BofA assessed a late fee of XXXX for XXXX XX/XX/XXXX even though they had twice acknowledged the payment in my mortgage statements and checking statements. They are now demanding {$1800.00} and are listing me as slow when I am clearly 2 months ahead in payments. BofA in fall of XXXX changed my account number and then after 2 months notified me that they had not been paid and threatened foreclosure. I had to pay again and it took them 6 weeks to find my original payments. These predatory practices must be stopped and BofA has quite a history of doing this. I would appreciate any assistance your office can provide to rectify this and hold the guilty party responsible.
