My bank of America credit card advertised a balance transfer rate of XXXX percent. I use the card for every day purchases as well. There was a clause that said purchases made would accrue interest unless balance was paid off at the end of each month. I called them to ask if this meant the whole balance or just the purchase balance and they told me just the purchases. XXXX XXXX XXXX, I noticed I was accruing interest, I called, they reversed and told me I was given the incorrect information. They also told me because of that they would refund interest going forward but I would have to call in. So a few months after I called in to have the charges reversed again and they refused saying the person hadn't noted it on my account ( even though they said they did ). Even speaking with a supervisor they refused and got belligerent about it. I asked for further review and they said there was nothing more other than filing a " bank complaint '' which they never responded to.
