I have a Bank of America credit card which I've had for over 20 years. I always pay my balance in full. In XX/XX/XXXX I saw a promo for 0 % APR balance transfer until XX/XX/XXXX. I transferred {$8000.00} and paid the 4 % fee of {$320.00}. I paid my balance in full for purchases in XXXX, XXXX and XXXX and just realized I was being charged interest. When I spoke with several people at BofA they said I had to pay the full balance, including the {$8000.00}, each month to avoid interest. I can not fathom how that is the case. I would never have transferred the money knowing they would charge interest on it, despite their big bold type claims of 0 % APR in until XX/XX/XXXX.
