Consumer Narrative
On XX/XX/XXXX after XXXX we were called by XXXX XXXX requesting for us to make a payment of an alleged damaged that they claim we did. We made clear to them that those damages ( picture of damages attached ) were not made by us and that we were not intended of making any sort of payment. They said that if a payment was not made that they were going to report us to collection. That was the end of that phone call. Days after the call with XXXX XXXX in which we made clear that those damages were not made by us and that we weren't planning on paying, they decided to call not only me, but my husband and my daughters requesting for us to make a payment. One that was never made and led this to reach collection. The first letter received by I.Q Data International Inc. was on XX/XX/XXXX ( letter attached ). On that letter they included the amount that was being reported, one of {$1200.00} with a {$31.00} of interest with a total of {$1200.00}. Same letter provided a section ( no longer on the attachment ) to cut and send back. On that part we selected that we were disputing the charges and requesting more information. ( Attached letter send to them disputing the charges ) The letter was send on XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX and according to the tracking number the letter arrived to the destination on XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX. Almost a month later we receive a second letter from them ( letter attached ) on XX/XX/XXXX in which they are requesting a payment. Ignoring and disregarding completely the letter that we sent that we were disputing the charge. They did not only ignored our petition but failed to respond on a timely manner and did not provide any proof and verification of the debt. Not only that but I.Q International Inc charged us more interest, than the first letter, with a total now of {$1200.00}. At this point it seems that they are not willing to take us serious and that they won't provide the minimum to confirm such debt that they claim were made by us.
