XX/XX/XXXX - Noticed a pending fraudulent transaction while reviewing my account disputed the transaction with Chase for {$2600.00} and onward until the new card was issued. The claim was pending and eventually was denied. Chase reported to me that the claim was denied due to them not being able to recover the funds and also prove the fraudulency. I advised them that I did everything on my end, starting with notifying them on the XXXX after the {$300.00} charge from XXXX smile and giving times and any information I could to help the case. Chase violates their own terms of service, which is their : XXXX XXXX XXXX You wont be held responsible for unauthorized charges made with your card or account information. As well as the Electronic Fund Transfer Act ( EFTA ). If the consumer reports the loss or theft after someone used it, his or her maximum liability depends on when he or she reports it. If the report is within two days of learning of the loss or theft, the consumers is not liable. I have done everything on my part and notified them in a timely manner however they are refusing my claim and asking for evidence that no account holder could reasonably have. They have stated that there are inconsistencies in my claim stating that I was aware on the XXXX which is inaccurate and also that only the claim for {$2600.00} was put through this is also inaccurate as I notified them all transactions after the XXXX smile were fradulent. Here is the call history I have, I have spoken to more supervisors than these and they all consistently are saying the same thing and when I continue to fight my case they hang up on me.
