Consumer Narrative
I deposited a check from a customer on Sunday for {$2600.00} and on Monday I seen in my transaction history a reversal so I called the bank they told me all is okay and money will be available Tuesday morning. Well on Tuesday I called and it was not there. I was told to deposit the check a second time and I did as instructed. Now there is an extended hold for like 10 days because the check was deposited 2 times. I complained and said that is what you instructed me to do and I was told there is no way to change it or expedite the release. So my frustration is I did exactly what I was told to by the bank and they are treating me like a fraud. With no way to help! This is not acceptable and conducive to running a business.
