I received this prepaid Mastercard as a gift in approximately XXXX and never opened it. I opened it on XX/XX/XXXX and though it has an expiration date of XX/XX/XXXX on the outside cover and the card, the card had a XXXX balance. I called the number listed on the card, XXXX, and I was told that the card had a XXXX balance. They referred me to another number XXXX and they told me that they have nothing to do with the account. All I know this was a sealed gift card that I opened today and the balance was apparently charged off.
