I called into my mortgage company, Carrington Home Mortgage Services on XX/XX/XXXX to make my mtg pymt. I let the csr know that I needed to break up my XXXX mtg payment into XXXX payments. That I would pay {$1200.00} that day and the remaining sum of {$1800.00} prior to it being actually late. The XXXX confirmed this with me and took my partial pymt over the phone. He confirmed and clarified this is not a problem to do so. That funds would be applied this way and accordingly to my XXXX mtg pymt. When I called back on XX/XX/XXXX, the XXXX said my {$1200.00} was not applied this way and in fact applied to other past previous late charges and that it was not applied toward my XXXX pymt and that my entire XXXX pymt was still owed. I spoke to a XXXX who said she would pull the phone call to confirm that what I said is true and now I'm waiting. This is completely bait and switch and misappropriating my funds without my consent. The XXXX from my first called assured me breaking my pymt into XXXX pymts was not a problem, nor did he say that the funds could not be applied this way. This if misappropriating and fraudulent on Carrington Mtg 's part.
