Bank of America Account number : XXXX Case number : XXXX I wrote to Bank of America about the ongoing dispute that I have with the company XXXX XXXX Florida XXXX. On XXXX XXXX XXXX, I negotiated a contract with this company for the gutters installation on my property. They gave me a quote of {$2300.00} to replace old gutters with 6-inch seamless gutters in white. On XX/XX/2022, the company installed the gutters while I was not home. I agreed to pay the balance of {$2300.00} after I came home and inspect the work. I came home after XXXX XXXX. I reached out to the representative XXXX by text at XXXX to offer to make payment. I was told that they can do a credit card payment only. They did not accept any other form of payment. He was also pressuring me to pay that day. He would not offer to return to pick up cash. My hands were tied so I gave him my credit card information. He said there would be a {$25.00} charge to bill on my card. I was very angry at this point. But he insisted that he got paid that instantly. After I got rid of him by providing my credit card information, I reviewed my charge online and I noticed he charged my card {$2500.00}. I was so upset, and I call and texted him back that night. I did not hear back until the next morning. He realized he did not charge me correctly and he offered to reimburse me for {$100.00}. I explained he overcharged me XXXX and asked for that amount to be credited to my account. He replied no, he will only give back {$100.00}. I then call my credit card company to report this bait-and-switch tactic that the company was using. Little did I know that Bank of America does not have the balls to stand up and fight for customers when it comes to these types of disputes. Bank of America has received my copy of the dispute, for the past three months but refuses to move to solve this problem. Instead, Im asked repeatedly to prove myself. I have called on multiple occasions to solve this problem with the credit card company and have not gotten anywhere. Im attaching the text messages that I had with the horrible company for review and the quote I received from them.
