I purchased what I thought was a prepaid debit card from NetSpend, but they are something totally different I suppose. I tried calling to activate the card, but I fail the automated " security test '' because the social security number " does not match [ their ] records. " I never gave them a SSN. So I talk with a rep and no matter how hard I plea with them not to send me back to the automated system, they do anyways, and after failing the security test a second time, I get put on hold for 10-15 mins until it just hangs up and I start the process all over. 'NetSpend was sued by the FTC in 2017 for doing this exact thing. How did these cards wind-up on the shelves of the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, FL XXXX XXXX
