I was told by my loan provider, FedLoan Servicing, that the payments I made on my loans during the Covid pandemic were eligible to be refunded. I requested a refund on XX/XX/2022, to help out with my finances. Fedloan said that it would take around 10-12 weeks. In about that time frame, the amount I paid on my student loans during the pandemic ( XXXX ) was added back to my loan balance but I have yet to receive the refund ( its been over 6 months ). I have called repeatedly since then asking why I havent received the refund and have basically been told a different thing every time I call. My loans have now been transferred to XXXX and Fedloan will no longer exist after XXXX. I asked repeatedly for documents detailing what I am owed and never received them from XXXX. I am so worried that I have just added XXXX to my loans that Ive already paid. I really need my refund, and Im at a loss for what to do.
