In accordance with the fair credit reporting act, this creditor ( GM Financial ) has violated my rights. Under 15 U.S.C S 1681 section 602 states I have the right to privacy. 15 U.S.C 1681 section 604 ( a ) section 2 states a consumer reporting agency can not furnish an account without my written instruction. Under 15 U.S.C 1666b a creditor may not treat a payment on a credit account under an open consumer credit account as late for any reason. GM financial has reported my payment as late to all three consumer credit agencies which is a violation of my privacy.
