I recently applied if store card with XXXX. XXXX is bank by synchrony. After filling out the application. I received a message stating synchrony ban needed a little bit more information. With in a day or so I called synchrony bank to provide any information that they had needed to approve me for store card. After briefly speaking a representative from synchrony bank to clarify the information they had needed to approve my application the agent stated that they new to verify my identity by scanning my drivers license.I was sent a link to my cell wich is XXXX to scan my identification card. I ran to an issue with the scanning. It accept the front of my identification card. But was rejecting the back of it. After a few trys of trying to get the back of my identification card scanned. I was locked out. I called synchrony bank back to let them know the issue I was running into. I was connected to agent. Ready to let him know the issue I was having with uploading my document. Before I can even let this agent know the issue he abruptly interrupted and said we seen what we need to see and we are not approving your application. In disbelief I ask the agent why. And he said you will get a letter in the mail XXXX explaining why. I was very confused and felt discriminated against. In the past I had someone trying to use my information to apply for credit cards and loans. 10 years later with me getting my identity back I have several major credit cards one with the highest limit being {$20000.00}. I was excited for applying for synchrony card. But after the agent being very rude and not helpful made me feel very discouraged. This complaint is mostly towards the agent and not synchrony bank. Hopefully that conversation was recorded and they can understand my frustration in this matter
