On XX/XX/XXXX I submitted a dispute to XXXX. In this dispute, I asked XXXX to remove Portfolio Recovery Account Number Ending in XXXX because the information was inaccurate. My dispute stated the date of first delinquency was incorrect and that the account was reporting past its statue of limitation for credit reporting. Portfolio Recovery is reporting a time-barred account. On XX/XX/XXXX XXXX responded to my complaint stating the information had been verified as correct. XXXX did NOT conduct a reasonable investigation and the investigation result details clearly show that. In the XXXX response I received, XXXX is reporting the date of first delinquency being XX/XX/XXXX. They are also reporting that the account was opened on XX/XX/XXXX. There is no way possible for an account to be delinquent before its even opened. For XXXX to show this in their investigation results displays they have not conducted an investigation and didnt bother reviewing the information. This is willful non-compliance and also a violation of my rights under the FCRA. This account needs to be deleted immediately. Ive attached the investigation results in this complaint, highlighting the issues mentioned above.
