This Complaint is against Citibank regarding my Costco credit card account that Citibank closed. Citibank issued me a letter informing me they are not reissuing my card due to " a bankruptcy or charge-off on another credit card issued by Citi. XXXX A similar action has also recently been taken against me regarding my Citibank Diamond Preferred card I have had since 1990. I also filed a Complaint regarding that action and account. Citibank representatives indicated to me they have no authority to change this decision. I also have a Citibank Citi Advantage Credit Card about which I can presume a similar action will be taken. I have never been late or missed a payment on my credit cards- the longest of which is 32 years. I also have no history of bankruptcy. Citibank claims it " charged-off '' a Home Depot Credit card in the amount of {$13.00} which I had no knowledge of. I currently have a Home Depot credit card and currently use that card. Apparently, a second card was opened at a XXXX XXXX check-out register to which I had no knowledge of, and which I never used. Citibank continually charged minimum service/interest fees and eventually " charged-off '' an account that had a balance of {$13.00} and again, no charges of mine, as I never used this card. Citibank 's actions are unreasonable and place my credit status and credit report in jeopardy, and moreover, its decision, which seems to be based on computer methodology, is prejudicial and disparately affects long-standing customers like myself with an outstanding Citibank record XXXX and with a history of on-time payments and loyalty.
